Lauren Holben

Lauren rowed for Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mi for four years, in addition to serving on the board her senior year. She participated in such regattas as Head of the Charles in Boston, Dad Vail in Philadelphia, and most recently she finished her rowing career overseas at the prestigious Henley Women's Regatta in Henley-Upon-Thames, England. She received a gold medal in the Varsity Women's 4+ at ACRA National Championships, as well as silver in the Women's DII/DIII 8+ at Dad Vail her Junior year and 4th place at Head of the Charles in the Women's Collegiate 8+ her sophomore year. She also helped coach the high school summer program at GRRA as well as taught sculling classes at the Grand Valley boathouse.

Lauren currently lives in Holland, MI and is finishing up her last semester at Grand Valley. She will graduate in December with a long sought-after B.A. in History and plans to continue on to Culinary school in the Spring.
