Membership Types & Fees

Members have a wide variety of competitive and recreational opportunities, as well as several social opportunities throughout the year. Additionally, once you have been certified by a GRRA coach, you will have access to any of our wide assortment of club boats as often as you wish. There is no additional cost for equipment use or access. Since the club has no paid staff, we are fortunate to receive help from the membership throughout the year, at events such as home regattas and social events, but also with the everyday needs of the organization.

Individual/Full memberships: Full members have rowing privileges, can hold a board position, and have full access to the website and club communications. This membership is $200/year, or $55 per quarter (terms still run one year).

Family memberships: Family memberships are available to up to 4 members (more than 4 is subject to approval by the board) living in the same household. The primary member should join with this membership form, and additional members can be added later. Family memberships cost $250/year, or $70 per quarter (terms still run one year).

Social memberships are meant for those who aren't as interested in rowing with the club, but still wish to remain in touch with the club happenings and member events. Social memberships cost $50/year.

If you'd rather wait until just before we get on the water to join, that's certainly okay... however, what many people don't realize is that the club has expenses throughout the year and counts on memberships being renewed when they run out, even during the winter. So, please consider joining or renewing anytime during the year (all membership terms are one full year, anyway)!

Shell Storage

Rack rental for storage of private shells is also available to Full or Family members at an additional charge. Please contact a GRRA coach if you are interested in storing a private shell at the boathouse. Rack rental costs $150/year, subject to availability.
