"To promote community
wellness through rowing"

Teams for all sessions will be practicing at the following times:

Wednesdays                      Saturdays
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm                 8:00 am - 10:00 am

Please arrive a few minutes early so you will have time to change, etc. and be ready to go when practice starts!

The recreational rowing season starts around April 1 and runs through the end of the American Heritage River Regatta (Wyandotte) on in early November.   The adult rowing program has two components: 1) Recreational rowing; 2) Competitive rowing.   The competitive rowing will  aim to push athletes to a higher level of performance, with the expectation to compete in regatta's with other competitive athletes.  Recreational rowing will primarily focus towards experiencing solid aerobic exercise with no competitive rowing at regatta's.  At GRRA our objective is to offer a good rowing experience to both competitive and non-competitive rowers.
