Neil Pettit

Neil’s rowing career started off at Ann Arbor Rowing Club when he was thirteen years old. He was a four-year rower at Saline High School and was named Captain as a senior earning numerous medals (his favorite has to be placing second at the Midwest Scholastic Rowing Championship in the Mens Varsity Pair). 

While attending Washtenaw Community College Neil was an Assistant Coach at Saline Crew. This is his first season coaching at Grand Rapid Rowing. He now attends Grand Valley State University, pursuing his Bachelors Degree in Political Science. Neil is currently the novice men's coach for the GRRA's high school program, Grand Rapids Crew.

Neil also is involved with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Joint Council 43, working as a Member Organizer and is an active member of the Young Democrats of America - Michigan Labor Caucus.
